Hi everyone,
Let’s build on your success in hearing God’s voice. Try this exercise.
Start a Book of Remembrance. God keeps a Book of Remembrance about us, so why
not keep one on Him?
-
Include things that He has done for you that made you feel special.
-
Things that you are grateful for.
-
You can include pictures of the things God has given you, like you would for a family album or scrapbook.
Example From My Journal:
“Oh Lord the times we’ve shared! There really is no one like You. I just went back,
reading the moments we’ve had together, so nice to have a record of them, so many left out.”
“One event was especially precious to me. On a Monday in Idaho, You met with me,
mingled with me. Your love and compassion filled me and surrounded me. Every time I
think of it I still feel it. It causes such emotion in me; it’s so intense it causes tears to
come to my eyes. That experience has helped me more times than I can remember. Your
love always gets me through whatever I have to go through. Just wanted to let You
know.”
